- My opinion differs from some of the others in that I think QBASIC is a
- waste of time (except its resurrection and enhancement in MS VB) and will
- instill you with more bad habits than you need right now. Nobody programs
- in it anyway. Pascal is an excellent language for learning the right way
- to program, but is not used anywhere (except DELPHI - Borland's Windows
- programming env).

- That aside, bite the bullet and leanr C++ from the start. Skip 'C' and
- come back to it later. You'll easily pick it up after learning C++. The
- thrust is C++ over 'C'.
